On the 1st of May, I took my Fuji GS645W out on a hike of the Seven Sisters Cliffs from Seaford to Eastbourne with some friends. I'd been wanting to do this hike for a while so I had seen a lot of images online already - of the chalky cliffs against a blue green body of water, the red and white candy-striped lighthouse around Beachy Head (towards the end of the hike) and the pebbled beach. I found the idea of going on a 6-to-7-hour hike to earn those views quite exciting.
All the photos here were shot on Kodak’s Ektar 100 film. The Fuji GS645W is my first and only medium format camera and, in my opinion, made for trips like this. It is light and was decent to hold on to or pop in my backpack on the steep inclines. More importantly, it's a joy to shoot hand-held. Thanks to the hugely temperamental British weather, it rained for at least 1 hour during our hike and I had to retire the camera for a bit out of caution. I did add a pretty bad bonus photo from the pre-rain stint on the last row of photos below.
Overall, it was a cool experience despite the hike being long and tough at times. Now that I know what to expect, I would definitely do it again when summer is in full swing. Enjoy the photos!

Some of my companions on this trip. We had lunch on these pebbles and the sun peeked out for a good minute. It was wonderful.

I did find the candy cane lighthouse but I wish I could have gotten a better angle.
